Barbara Kupras and Kristi Kupras Ochs are the co-directors of the Belchertown Twirlers. Barbara and Kristi are a mother-daughter team who encourage kids to have fun at all baton classes. Barbara is a NBTA judge, contest director and New England AAU board member. Barbara has recently celebrated her 35th year of coaching baton twirling and brings the expertise needed to bring out the best in every child. Kristi is a former state, regional and national champion. Kristi graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelor's degree in Child and Family Development. Kristi was the feature twirler with the marching band. Currently, Kristi is a Head Start preschool teacher. Kristi is the twirling coach for the UMass band and is a NBTA judge and contest director.
